Addison is just as sweet and precious as she was the first time I photographed her. She lives in New Jersey, so it’s been a while. And oh so fun to see what a beautiful girl she is growing to be. She was fascinated by the big wonderful tree. She kept looking up and asking how a person might climb it. And I’ll bet it won’t be long before she will be climbing trees. She’s already pretty strong.

Her grandmother was with us, and she told me that this tree was a favorite of hers when she was a little girl. And since that time it has just continued to grow out in all directions.

We crossed the street to take photos along that iron fence. Addison’s grandmother told her of how she walked along that same sidewalk, next to the iron fence on her way to school when she was young.

Addison’s friend Roman came along with his mother. Their mothers are friends, so of course we had to get some photos of the group.

This little guy was so good during his first photographic session. He slept through most of it. But when he woke, I could see how he has earned the reputation for making facial expressions that make him look like a grumpy old man. So cute!

“Thomas is here.” Those were the words his big sister greeted me with when I entered their home.

Big brother had Daddy’s full attention at the end of the shoot. I love these photos. Love this family.
