I’ve been photographing this beautiful family every fall for four years now. And I always look forward to our session. They come dressed in the perfect colors, and they have fun as a family. And it’s so fun to see how the kids have grown. We always get many wonderful images that they add to their wall collection. This year was no different. I’ve only had time to process this one image, but couldn’t wait to share it with them.

This fun family wanted my favorite kind of family portrait. A real picture of them being who they are and doing what they do best. Enjoying each other on a sunny morning in the park. I loved it. And I think they did too! And now they’ll have these photos to remind them.

Her name is Ava.  I especially love the photo of her with her mother in front of the window. The tree outside the window reminded me of the new little branch that was just added to their family tree. Precious. And even though her mother tried for a while to get her to close her eyes, she was determined not to close them. And she finally did, but only for a brief moment. And then she was like a sleeping angel.
